Eicher Engines is a unit of TAFE Motors and Tractors Limited (TMTL) with Alwar as the manufacturing base. TMTL is wholly owned subsidiary of TAFE, part of Chennai based Amalgamation Group which is one of India's largest light engineering conglomerates having Long and distinguished history of serving Indian and global markets with Pan Indian presence of 47 companies with highly skilled and competent workforce of over 15,000 and Business built on highest standards of Integrity, Ethics and Values.
The engine plant at Alwar produces a wide range of Air and Water cooled engines in the brand name of EICHER, which cater to a wide range of Automotive and Stationary Applications and has an existing customer base of over 6,00,000 spread across all these segments. Eicher Engines are one of the most preferred engines for Stationary applications like Generating Sets, Prime Mover for Agro-industries, Marine and other industrial applications and is proud of its 1,50,000 satisfied customers in this segment.
In Power Generation segment alone, Eicher Engines has a strong base of over 60,000 customers and aspire to become one of the leading players in this segment through continuous improvement in product and product range using better technology, customer service to meet the global standards of quality and productivity. Eicher envisage growing exponentially in power generation segment by providing economical power solutions with custom built products and services to cater to a wide range of institutional and retail customers like telecom, petrol pumps, apartments, commercial establishments, houses, hospitals and industries.
