TAFE - one of the world's largest tractor manufacturers inaugurates its Integrated Assembly Plant and TAFE Experience Center in Aguascalientes, Mexico
Aguascalientes, Mexico, August 27, 2025: Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited (TAFE), one of the world's largest tractor manufacturers, today announced the inauguration of its new Integrated Assembly Plant with an Experience Center in the state of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Established in 1960 and headquartered in India, TAFE has over eight manufacturing plants in India, one in Turkiye and the new addition now in Mexico. TAFE Tractors has a presence in more than 80+ countries in the world.
TAFE plans to invest $15 Million (USD) in Mexico and reaffirms its long-term commitment to the Mexican market. The TAFE Integrated Assembly Plant is a focused move by the brand to localize products to suit the requirements of the Mexican market, offer immersive experiences for the customers with its state-of-art experience center to provide product and service training for sales and service teams to strengthen their after-sales support.
TAFE is deeply committed to a phased investment plan in Mexico which will focus on assembly and infrastructure, local sourcing, and capacity-building initiatives. TAFE also has a sales and marketing office in Querétaro to support its network across the country. The Aguascalientes plant is expected to create more than 300 direct and indirect jobs as operations grow.
The inauguration ceremony was presided by Dr. María Teresa Jiménez Esquivel - Governor of the State of Aguascalientes, in the presence of His Excellency, Pankaj Sharma - Ambassador of India to Mexico City, Sandeep Sinha – CEO TAFE along with Esaú Garza De Vega - Secretary of Economic Development, Science And Technology of the Government Of Aguascalientes, Leonardo Montanez Castro - Mayor of Aguascalientes, Mirna Rubiela Medina Ruvalcaba - President of Congress, Luis Salvador Alcala Duran - Congress Deputy - District VI, Aguascalientes, TAFE’s leadership team, Aguascalientes State Government department officials and TAFE‘s key strategic partners. Ambassador of Mexico to India, His Excellency - Federico Salas Lotfe felicitated TAFE through a video message.
