It is in this context that TAFE’s JFarm Rajasthan brings together agricultural knowledge, farm mechanisation, product demonstrations and hands-on training in one integrated ecosystem.
JFarm, TAFE’s adaptive agri-research and training center, was established in 1964 on 200 acres of land near Chennai. Dedicated to the memory of the founder Chairman Mr. S. Anantharamakrishnan, JFarm demonstrates sustainable and profitable farming practices through research, mechanisation, training and farmer advisory services.
Today, JFarm has facilities across three locations in India – Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Rajasthan. JFarm Rajasthan, the third such facility in the country, was inaugurated at Bhawani Mandi in April 2026. The centre reflects TAFE’s commitment to driving farm productivity and farmer prosperity by sharing research-based sustainable agricultural practices and providing practical learning opportunities.
Three Pillars of JFarm Rajasthan
JFarm Rajasthan is designed as an integrated ecosystem comprising three key pillars: the Customer Experience Centre, Product Training Centre and Farmer Interaction Centre. Each centre has a distinct role, while together they create a platform where farmers can experience products, build technical knowledge, learn about sustainable agricultural practices, and make better informed decisions for their farms.
1. Customer Experience Centre
The Customer Experience Centre gives farmers an opportunity to experience TAFE’s product range through live demonstrations and interactive experiences. Rather than simply learning about products, visitors can see them in operation and understand their applications in farming.
The emphasis on demonstrations allows farmers to gain practical insights into farm mechanisation and the ways in which different solutions can be used in agricultural operations. This experience is an important part of helping farmers understand technology in a real-world setting.
By providing a space where products and solutions can be experienced first-hand and through virtual experiences, it creates a direct connection between technology and its practical application on the farm.
2. Product Training Centre
The Product Training Centre focuses on hands-on technical training for dealers, service personnel and farmers. The training provides practical exposure to the operation and servicing of tractors and farm equipment.
Training plays an important role in ensuring that agricultural machinery can be used and maintained effectively. At JFarm Rajasthan, the emphasis on hands-on learning allows participants to develop practical technical knowledge rather than relying only on classroom-based instruction.
The centre therefore serves not only as a space to understand farm machinery but also for building the skills needed to operate and service it.
3. Farmer Interaction Centre
The Farmer Interaction Centre focuses on knowledge dissemination, best practices and modern agricultural techniques. It provides a platform for farmers to engage with information related to changing agricultural practices and developments.
The centre will showcase the latest advancements in agronomy and farm practices, including trends in crop production, protection and processing. This gives the farming community an opportunity to learn about different aspects of crop cultivation and management.
The Farmer Interaction Centre also complements the other two pillars. While the Customer Experience Centre provides exposure to farm mechanisation and the Product Training Centre develops technical skills, the Farmer Interaction Centre focuses on agricultural knowledge and practices. Together, the three centres create a more comprehensive learning environment for farmers.

Sustainability is an important part of JFarm Rajasthan’s purpose. The centre has been established with a focus on sharing sustainable agricultural practices while supporting farm productivity and farmer prosperity.
